The Royal Association of Disability Rights (RADAR) is a national network of disability organisations and disabled people. Formed in 1977, RADAR is run by and works for disabled people and with over 800 members it is the UK’s leading pan-disability charity, representing the needs and expectations of over 11 million disabled people.  It pioneers upbeat and proactive campaigns to bring about changes in individual attitudes and behaviour.  RADAR recognises that, to facilitate disabled people's full participation in our communities, there is a need to work broadly not narrowly and to explain and engage rather than to hector.
